Well I got the interim report handed in nice and early, well two days early and only 100-odd words over the 2000 limit. Yay me!
Things are slowing progressing on the model, I'm now at 10,500 polys with just the drones left to model, managed to get some extra optimisation done on the main bulk of the model which has helped with the poly count. Enough of my ramblings though, more pretty pictures!

I'm thinking I may have to remove the working doors in order to save on polys, having 500 polys to make two drones isn't going to be easy and technically the interior of the Hammerhead is taken up by the power cells and ammo for the Rail Gun so there wouldn't normally be enough room for any passengers anyway. I just really wanted an interior for more dramatic animation stuff down the line...
