I've finally got all the normal maps done and I have to say, I can kick the crap out of stuff! Seriously check out the screens of the damaged version of the tank, it sure looks like its seen a few too many battles.
Onto the home straight now, got Research Paradigms out of the way today (actually had it out of the way since late on Friday but I only handed it in today). So all I've got to do now is:
1. Make the textures (and not before time!)
2. Rig the tank up (give it some bones ready for animation)
3. Do the animation!
4. Make an environment in Hammer to show off the tank.
5. Import everything needed (model/textures/animation)
6. check everything (in hammer) for errors
6.1. Correct any errors.
7. Write the dissertation (all 12,000 words of it)
8. Prepare for the presentation.
Sounds like a lot but I've got a month to do it all and some of the stuff won't take very long at all. Like the textures should have them inside a week (for both clean and damaged versions). The animation and the write up are probably going to take the longest but even then, the animation won't take long as it'll be relatively straight forward stuff.
Now onto the pretty pictures!
Ah fresh off the production line.
Close up detail on the front.
The back door.
The view from above.
Aaaaand the underside.
And the battered underside of the ol' gal.
The view from above of the ol' gal.
The back door of the ol' gal, you can hardly see the door through the damage!
The ol' gal has looked better...
A close up so you can see the hardship that the ol' gal has faced.
As always criticism is always welcome and actively encouraged.
This is Benji Dude, asking you to take a ride in my tank!
